Easy Hair

A good cut and style can make your hair so easy to handle. I've been a fan of the faux-hawk lately. It's making its way back into trends. I love how it can
form so nicely with the natural hair growth . Anytime you go with the natural
hair pattern, you're bound to find your style easier to work with and more flattering.

For women i love to bust out the irons and show them a new look or try a combination deep
conditioning treatments or "cocktailing" as we in the biz like to say. I have product and tools to play with and you should take advantage even if its only when you cut or color your hair. A subtle change in color can make maintenance so much easier! so...talk to me about your hair?

New Hair Ideas!

I love to encourage my clients to explore new hair ideas. Today I convinced someone to embrace their curls... to think she had never worn her natural curl! It was so exciting to know how much time she was about to cut down on as well as the amount of damage being done to her hair!

The Importance of Toner

The most important step in your skin care routine is toner. Its often skipped for fear of drying out the skin but actually it balances the pH of your skin and closes your pores. After my pamper day I wanted to keep up the healthy glow after my facial. I've implemented toner into my skin care regime and my skin has never looked better! Right now I love Philosophy Hope Springs Eternal!

Fall Trends 2011: Ashley Greene

Coppers and Golds and Corals! Oh my! Fall is coming early this year, as women are going a bit darker. A surge of requests for richer colors, low lights, and something more natural has washed up. Twilight star, Ashley Greene had a head start in Fendi at the Skateland Premire in May. Her bold deep tones, aka 5G (you know what I mean) brings out an exotic glow. I love how she pairs it with a coral pink that is surprisingly bright but soft. Try Essie's Canyon Coral! It reminds me of a sweet sunset!

Tie-Dye Hair!

The hottest trend in hair right now is tie dye hair thanks to one of my fav's Lauren Conrad and her stylist, Kristen Ess.

It is so fun to forget the rules and play with hair, sometimes. Keeping in mind - color is color and can most always be altered (as LC showed us days later, I'm still not convinced they weren't extensions) Which brings me to my next point, playing with lenth. Cutting can always be tricky and you should really trust your stylist before you do a major change. This trend is bound to catch on because the color can be removed with a color remover, or just snip it off if you've got hair to spare!

I am dying to try this on myself or anyone who has long hair to let me play a little?
